The iterative decomposition of water and fat with echo asymmetrical and least-squares estimation quantitation sequence (IDEAL-IQ) MRI has high signal to noise ratio (SNR), which can effectively quantitatively evaluate the content and distribution of fat and iron in body with gradually expanding clinical applications. The research and application progresses of IDEAL-IQ MRI were reviewed in this article. |
