| Medical imaging provides non-invasive visual evidence, but manual analysis suffers from low efficiency, high misdiagnosis rates and challenges in cross-modal integration. The application of artificial intelligence (AI) could significantly enhance diagnostic accuracy and consistency. The application advances and challenges of AI in images obtained with ultrasound, X-ray, CT, MRI, pathology and endoscopy were systematically reviewed in this article. |
