Objective To observe the impact of SwiftScan step-and-shoot continuous (SSC) acquisition mode on imaging quality of cerebral blood flow perfusion based on 99Tcm-ECD SPECT/CT. Methods Date of 55 patients with decreased brain blood flow perfusion who underwent 99Tcm-ECD SPECT/CT brain metabolic using SwiftScan SSC acquisition mode were retrospectively analyzed. Post-processed was used to obtain step-and-shoot (SS, SS group), SSC, SSC75%-time (acquisition time reduced by 25%) and SSC50%-time (acquisition time reduced by 50%) SPECT/CT fusion images. Visual analogue scale (VAS) and semi-quantitative analysis were performed to compare quality of different images. Results VAS scores of SS group, SSC group, SSC75%-time group and SSC50%-time group was 4.0(4.0, 4.5) points, 5.0(4.5, 5.0) points, 3.5(3.0, 3.5) points and 2.5(2.0, 3.0) points, respectively, all were significantly different (χ2=89.02, P<0.001). Significant differences of the maximum, minimum and mean values of radiation counts were found among 4 groups (all P<0.001). The maximum, minimum and mean values of radiation counts in SSC group were all obviously higher than those in the rest 3 group (all P<0.001). No significant difference of imaging uniformity, noise, lesion contrast, lesion contrast-noise ratio and lesion diameter was found among the 4 groups, nor of target/non-target ratio and right cerebral radiation count/left cerebral radiation count ratio among the 16 brain regions (all P>0.05). Conclusion SwiftScan SSC acquisition mode could improve imaging quality of 99Tcm-ECD SPECT/CT cerebral blood blow perfusion. |
