目的 观察自制线圈辅助支架及相控阵表面线圈组合(简称组合线圈)用于新生儿颅脑1.5T MRI的价值。方法 针对水模分别以组合线圈及常规头颅线圈以相同参数采集T1WI进行体外实验。采用组合线圈(试验组)及常规头颅线圈(对照组)以相同参数对10名健康足月新生儿采集颅脑T1WI、T2WI和T2液体衰减反转恢复(T2-FLAIR)序列图像,比较图像信噪比(SNR)、对比噪声比(CNR)和信号一致性(Cs),综合分析新生儿颅脑各序列图像,比较组间图像主观评分的差异。结果 体外实验中,相比常规头颅线圈,以组合线圈采集的T1WI中,各区域SNR均有所增加(P均<0.05),前后部及左右侧Cs值均降低(P均<0.01)。临床试验中,相比对照组,试验组新生儿颅脑T1WI、T2WI及T2-FLAIR序列图像的前额部SNR均提高(P均<0.05),T1WI基底节及左右颞部SNR均降低(P均<0.05),其余区域各序列图像SNR差异均无统计学意义(P均>0.05);组间新生儿颅脑各序列图像所示各区域CNR差异均无统计学意义(P均>0.05);试验组图像质量主观评分(4.45±0.27)高于对照组[(3.01±0.42),t=35.25,P<0.01]。结论 自制线圈辅助支架及表面线圈组合有利于提高新生儿颅脑1.5T MR图像质量。 |

Objective To observe the application value of self-made coil auxiliary stent and surface coil combination (combined coil) for neonatal brain 1.5T MR examinations. Methods For in vitro experiments, T1WI of a phantom were collected with combined coil and routine head coil with the same parameters, respectively. In clinical trials, combined coil (experimental group) and routine head coil (control group) were used to collect brain T1WI, T2WI and T2-fluid attenuated inversion recovery (T2-FLAIR) sequence images of 10 healthy full-term neonates with same parameters, respectively. The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) and consistency of signal (Cs) of the phantom were compared between images collected with different coils, so did brain MRI of newborns between groups. Neonatal brain MRI were comprehensively analyzed among different sequences, and the subjective scores of imaging equalities were compared between groups. Results For in vitro experiments, compared with routine head coil, SNR in each region of phantom T1WI collected with combined coil increased (all P<0.05), Cs values of front and back, as well as left and right side decreased (both P<0.01). In clinical trials, compared with those of control group, SNR in the frontal region on T1WI, T2WI and T2-FLAIR sequence images increased in experimental group (all P<0.05), SNR of basal ganglia and left and right temporal regions on T1WI decreased (both P<0.05), while no significantly difference of SNR was found in other regions (all P>0.05). No significant difference of CNR of any region was found on neonatal brain MRI between groups (all P<0.05). The subjective score of imaging quality in experimental group (4.45±0.27) was higher than that in control group ([3.01±0.42], t=35.25, P<0.01). Conclusion Self-made coil auxiliary stent and surface coil combination was benefit for improving imaging quality of neonatal brain 1.5T MR examinations. |
