The flexor tendon sheath pulley system is superficial and subtle. High-frequency ultrasound can be used to examine lesions of flexor tendon sheath pulley system, including diagnosis and treatment of stenosing tenosynovitis of finger flexor tendon, evaluation on involvement of systemic diseases and systemic sclerosis. Ultrasonic findings and research progresses of flexor tendon sheath pulley system were reviewed in this article. |
