Microvascular ultrasonographic imaging is a kind of new ultrasonic blood flow imaging technologies, including superb micro-vascular imaging, planewave ultrasensitive imaging (Angio PL.U.S) and microvascular imaging, which can display micro vessels and low-velocity blood flow signals. Microvascular ultrasonographic imaging can rather accurately reflect the blood supply of thyroid nodules, therefore benefiting the differentiation of benign and malignant ones. The application progresses of microvascular ultrasonographic imaging in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules were reviewed in this article. |
