| Most thyroid nodules are benign. In addition to surgical thyroid removal, various interventional treatment methods can also be selected for treatment of benign thyroid nodules. High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) is one of the ways of ablation therapy of thyroid benign nodules, which is safe and effective. The research progresses of HIFU in ablation therapy for thyroid benign nodules were reviewed in this article. |
