      垂体柄阻断综合征(PSIS)指各种原因导致垂体柄异常变细或缺如,下丘脑与垂体前、后叶联系中断,致使下丘脑分泌的激素无法通过垂体柄输送至垂体后叶,且无法通过垂体门脉系统作用于垂体前叶而出现的一系列临床症候群。鞍区高分辨率MRI可清晰显示垂体结构,是诊断PSIS的可靠影像学方法。本文对PSIS的MR检查方法及其表现进行综述。
英文摘要:
      Pituitary stalk interruption syndrome (PSIS) refers to a series of clinical syndromes caused by abnormal thin or absent pituitary stalk due to various reasons, and the connection between the hypothalamus and the anterior or posterior lobe of pituitary is interrupted. Hormones secreted by the hypothalamus can not be delivered to the posterior lobe through the pituitary stalk, neither act on the anterior lobe through the pituitary portal system. High resolution MRI of sellar region can clearly show the structure of pituitary gland, which is the reliable imaging method for diagnosing PSIS. The scanning methods and MRI findings of PSIS were reviewed in this article.
