| Contrast-enhanced ultrasound can be used to detect the neovascularization in the artery wall of TA patients. It was helpful to provide a promising tool for early diagnosis of TA and valuable informations for assessing the disease activity and the response to immunosuppressive treatment. The progress of clinical application of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in the diagnosis of TA were reviewed in this article. |
