| Primary hyperparathyroidism is the most common parathyroid disease, which is caused by parathyroid adenoma, hyperplasia and carcinoma. With the development of imaging techniques, ultrasound has become an effective method in examination and localization of parathyroid diseases. The research progresses of ultrasound in diagnosis of parathyroid diseases were reviewed in this article. |
