| Anterior cingulate cortex is an important part of the limbic system, and has been found to be strongly associated with emotions, cognition and executive function, playing an important role in both occurrence and development of several psychiatric diseases. The anatomical structure, functional subdivisions and progress of correlative diseases were reviewed in this article. |
