       早产儿脑室周围白质软化(PVL)是一种与运动功能、视觉、听觉以及认知障碍密切相关的疾病,是早产儿脑瘫的主要原因。经颅超声能对PVL做出初步诊断及预后评价,且可重复多次对早产儿脑部结构变化进行评估;结合MRI,可评价PVL患儿的损伤程度,预测可能发生的不良后果,为早期治疗提供依据。本文对早产儿脑白质软化的影像学诊断进行简要综述。
英文摘要:
      Periventricular leukomalacia (PVL) is closely related to motor, visual, auditory and cognitive dysfunction. It is the main cause for cerebral palsy in preterm newborn. With the development of ultrasonography, transcranial ultrasound could make initial diagnosis and prognostic evaluation for PVL. Combined with MRI, it can assess the degree of the white matter damage and predict the possible adverse consequences, which could provide evidence to early treatment. Imaging diagnosis of PVL in preterm newborn was reviewed in this article.
