| Two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging (2D-STI) is a new technology of ultrasound. Without angle dependence, 2D-STI can quantitatively evaluate the regional and whole motion situation of myocardium, and therefore benefit on the diagnosis, following-up and prognosis of cardiovascular diseases. The applications of 2D-STI in cardiovascular diseases were reviewed in this article. |
