| Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an inflammatory demyelinating and neurodegenerative disease of the central nervous system with unknown reason. In recent years, the iron deposition in the lesions and basal ganglia region of the multiple sclerosis has been paid more and more attention. The etiology, pathology, clinical presentation and MRI diagnostic value on iron deposition of the multiple sclerosis were reviewed. |
