目的 利用MRI监测实验性自身免疫性脑脊髓炎(EAE)发病进程,判断MRI对不典型发病的实验性自身免疫性脑脊髓炎的监测价值。方法 应用MOG35-55诱导Lewis大鼠建立EAE模型。对所有EAE大鼠进行急性期、慢性期的神经功能评分、MR常规成像及USPIO强化成像,比较MRI与临床状态的关系。处死部分EAE大鼠进行病理分析,并与MRI进行对照。结果 MOG35-55诱导的EAE模型症状复杂多样,神经功能评分与MRI对病情的判断存在差异,MRI可以发现、但神经评分不易判断的EAE病灶。结论 MRI可提高对不典型发病的EAE病灶的检出率,能更加客观、全面地评估EAE模型。 |

Objective To explore the value of MRI in monitoring atypical experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). Methods Thirty male healthy Lewis rats were immunized with MOG35-55. Following the encephalitogenic challenge, rats were observed daily for clinical signs of neurological impairment. At the peak of the clinical scores, rats were examined with routine MR imaging. Then USPIO were injected into the tail vein of the animal for the next MRI measurement after 24 h. The relationships of MR-revealed lesions to clinical status were explored. Some of the rats were executed to pathological examination. Results The model induced with MOG35-55 peptide manifested complicated clinical signs of EAE. There were differences in the severity of disease between the clinical signs and MR imaging. MRI displayed the EAE lesions that were difficult to evaluate by clinical signs. Conclusion The detection rate of atypical EAE increase with MRI, suggesting that EAE model can be evaluated objectively and comprehensively with MRI. |
