| Gene therapy of cardiovascular disease has become investigative hot spot and direction. But because of the safety of viral vectors and poor efficiency of non-viral vectors, gene therapy develops slowly. Ultrasound microbubble contrast agents are new gene transfection vector, and they bring a new light into gene therapy that occupying dilemma. This review describes the application of ultrasound microbubble contrast agents in gene therapy of cardiovascular disease. |
