Because of the merit of conspicuity to low concentration contrast material compared to T1-weighted images and no enhancement within the normal vascular structures, contrast-enhanced FLAIR MR imaging is a valuable method in diagnosis of meningeal diseases, brain neoplasm and ischemia. This article is summarizing the fundamental principle and clinical application of contrast-enhanced FLAIR MR imaging. |
