| Defining CT severity of acute pulmonary embolism can help to stratify the risk of patients, indicate their prognosis, guide treatment selection and monitor the efficacy of treatment. CT evaluation is based on the detection of massive pulmonary embolism, the evaluation of morphological heart changes and the quantification of pulmonary arterial bed obstruction using various scores. |
