| The role of the endothelium in human disease recently has become the focus of intense scientific investigation in cardiovascular territory. Impaired endothelial function is associated with artherosclerosis. Noninvasive assessment of vascular endothelium function by ultrasonographic technique allows us to early detect impaired endothelial function. This article is summarizing the ultrasonographic detection methods of vascular endothelium function. |
