| Ultrasonography as a noninvasive technique plays an important role in the diagnosis of presence of malignant gestational trophoblastic disease, detecting invasive disease, assessing disease recurrence. This article reviews the utility of sonography in the diagnosis, assessment on the efficacy of chemotherapy and prognosis of malignant gestational trophoblastic disease. |
