Image segmentation denotes a process which a raw image is partitioned into nonoverlapping regions.The image segmentation problem is treated as a key issue in image processing and machine vision. Medical image segmentation is an important application in the field of image segmentation. In this article, a rather complete survey to the medical image segmentation Methods are given, and their characteristics are discussed, especially to the new Methods or improvement to the classical Methods which was put forward recently. |
