| The development of orally-administrated gastrointestinal tract contrast media for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of abdomen was introduced in this article. The characteristic of the oral bowel contrast agents for MRI, its classification and representative products, and possible side effects were depicted. Ferric ammonium citrate (FAC) as a safe and efficient agent was emphasized about its mechanism, Results of various clinical research and application. |
