Objective To evaluate the method and the application value of low field three-dimensional contrast enhanced subtraction MR angiography in abdominal blood vessels and relative diseases. Methods A total of 23 patients underwent 3D-CES MRA with AIRIS-Ⅱ comfort 0.3T MR made by HITACHI. The small volume Gd-DTPA were used for injection scanning to measure the peak value time of Gd-DTPA arrived at the target blood vessel. Results 3D-CES MRA was successful in the diagnostic examination of 23 cases. The images were fine and distinct for diagnosis. 3D-CES MRA clearly showed the anatomical structure of abdominal aorta, the main branches and various lesions. Conclusion 3D-CES MRA is a new method in diagnosing of abdominal blood vessels and relative diseases. It was proved that clear image for diagnosis can also be obtained by low field MR imaging system if this technique was properly applied. |
