| A total or 20 cases of intracranial or intraspinal tumors that were diagnosed incorrectly by MRI were summerized.It was found that the causes of incorrect diagnosis on MRI include:①The tissue resolution and spatial resolution of low field strength MR imaging system is lower than that of high field strength MR imaging system.②MR appearances of intracranial and intraspinal neoplasms are nonspecific to histologic diagnosis. The same signal intensities or enhancing patterns may appear in different types of tumor,③Lack of sufficient experience,the authers have not enough knowledge about rare tumors |
